Thai Pongal, a Thanks giving festival to the Sun and God for Harvest. Pongal is a four-days-long harvest festival celebrated in Tamil Nadu, a southern state of India. For as long as people have been planting and gathering food, there has been some form of harvest festival.
At MVM, Management, Teachers and Students have celebrated this Pongal 2023 in a traditional manner by cooking Pongal then offering to Sun and Nature.
MVM is completely decorated to bring the festival feel among the students..
Our Mahalashmi Amma, started the festival along with our teachers by preparing pongal in our school campus in a traditional pot.
It is followed by list of Tamil traditional games and events for the students.
Rangoli Competition was organized for classes VI to X in the open field and for classes I to V in the classroom…
Series of Cultural programs were organized to spread the happiness even more…
This has given lots of memories to cherish in future and reminded the students the importance of the festival.
